Down to earth guy looking after being burned too many times.
Down to earth, guy next door professional who's been bitten twice now, but still believes he can find happiness. Compassionate, caring, hopeful romantic, with an adventurous side that comes out every so often. I have custody of my two beautiful kids, so they are obviously an important facet of my life (especially when the kids are in their early teens:) I like quiet times anywhere with that someone special, at home or elsewhere, outdoors or indoors, and recently began taking horseback riding lessons which I enjoy.
Basically I usually go for the girlnextdoor type, hopefully with a little twinkle of a wild side, who likes to be romantic, affectionate and pleased but is willing to do all those in return. I have been on the receiving end of deceitful people, so trust and honesty are a must at any relationship level. Maturity regardless of age, and character are very important. I want to be treated by a woman as I would treat her. I miss extended affection....miss it very much, both giving and receiving. Most of all, of course, respect is a must;) I am not necessarily looking for a long term relationship, but if things go in that direction, I would certainly not try to stop it from happening!
