I am 26, and work as a retail manager and am also a firefighter on the side. I love my career and am aiming for the top. You have to have dreams and goals in life. I lost my last partner to (I believe) another man and was heartbroken. We made so many plans for the future. Kids, owned a house together, and I thought we were very happy. I still have those dreams.
