I was born and raised in Orangeburg, SC. I attended Limestone College and University of South Carolina. I enlisted in Navy in 1978. After attending Navy electronics and data systems schools in California, I became an east coast sailor, sailing out of Norfolk, VA. While I lived on board ship in Norfolk, wife and family lived in Orangeburg. After discharge from Navy, my family and I moved to Southern California where I went to work as a technical writer. We lived in Southern California from 1983 to 1990 and then moved to East Bay in 1990 where I continued my career as a technical writer. We moved back to Orangeburg in late 2000. My wife and I separated in June, 2006 and there is no intent to reconcile.That's about it.
