Fortysomething gentleman who likes old movies, poetry (writing, not reading) travel, fine red wine, a nice glass of port now and then, and the company of an attractive lady.Now the real story: after 10 years of wedded bliss (we were married 18 but most of the last 8 my wife was a falldowndrunk, now she's in AA and doing great)my wife asked for a divorce. Now for the first time in 20 years (we dated for two) I'm single, I don't do the bar scene for obvious reasons (see above) and been wondering "where does one find the next love of his life?" I've been used to being close to another for years and miss it. So, here I am: I have a good sense of humor (see above) not bad looking, I do however work mainly evenigs (late evening/early morning) the job comes with about 13 weeks off a year so it's worht it (sortof). My main vice is....golf, my son wants to be a pro, so we golf alot in the summer.
Not really sure what I'm looking for; As I said I miss the closeness of a long term relationship, but am not looking for another, (yet? maybe? who knows) I would however like to know someone before we become lovers. Dating didn't used to be this clinical, or did it?
