Why do I bother?
I'm a musician. I was the guitarist/vocalist in a punk band for several years, until we split a year or so ago. My marriage broke up several months ago, and I don't really get out a lot anymore. As a result, I haven't really kept in touch with many people. I'm basically looking for a good friend to hang out with, and keep off the boredom. I like partying, or just sitting around and bullshitting.I should also add that I have no intentions of actually becoming a paying member of this site, as I am repulsed by their practice of posing as a "free" site, and then sending fake emails in an attempt to trick someone into joining. There must be a great deal of money to be made in exploiting the lonliness of others.Until I receive an email from someone who can find a way to prove that they are who they say, I'll just continue with the free membership to help eat up bandwidth.
Basically, all I really look for in anyone is honesty, integrity, and respect. I can get along with almost anyone as long they don't bullshit me.
