Mid life crisis my ass; I'm just getting started. Want to come along for the ride?
I am interrested in kayaking, mountain biking, four wheeling, good beer, great friends, loud music, women with fire in their soul, adventurous sex, the taste of salt spray crashing over the bow, the thunder of a rolling sea, my pulse racing, poetry that wrenches my soul, relaxing in my hammock, ...life, I am interested in life. I have everything on my iPod from Bluegrass and Sea Shanties, to Thrash Metal and Punk though I tend to lean more toward the latter. I can handle modern country in small doses, and crap I mean rap, in even smaller doses. I don't watch much TV any more. I used it in the past to kill the monotonous hours between fights; it was cheaper than Prozac. I do sometimes watch the History channel, or one of the Disney shows with the kids. I also like Cartoon network but don't tell anyone.
I just got over a twelve year marriage to a codependent, bipolar alcoholic; to try and start a serious relationship now would be foolish for me and unfair to the poor woman I get involved with. I just want to be friends who hook up for occasional adventurous weekend getaways. That could mean a cabin in the mountains, a weekend at the beach, a road trip to New York or a pub crawl around Alexandria or wherever. I just want to enjoy life for a change.
